A new home for a lega­cy that shaped the world. 

Big progress in Friedrichshafen: After care­ful plan­ning and prepa­ra­tion, we’re now mov­ing ahead with a new exhi­bi­tion space that will bring the May­bach sto­ry to life. With the sup­port of a respect­ed local design expert, we’re cre­at­ing an expe­ri­ence that’s both infor­ma­tive and inspir­ing, root­ed in inno­va­tion and open to all.

The space will serve many pur­pos­es. It will wel­come car enthu­si­asts and cul­ture lovers, but also offer edu­ca­tion­al oppor­tu­ni­ties for schools and youth pro­grams. At its core, the exhi­bi­tion will explore the ground­break­ing work of Wil­helm and Karl May­bach and show how their ideas con­tin­ue to shape the world today.

One moment we’re espe­cial­ly look­ing for­ward to is cel­e­brat­ing the tenth anniver­sary of the May­bach Muse­um Friends Asso­ci­a­tion. We hope to mark the occa­sion inside the fin­ished space. Until then, we’ll keep shar­ing updates and look for­ward to wel­com­ing vis­i­tors from near and far.
